Every Maison Subira piece is made by women artisans in Kigali, Rwanda, paid above local market rate. We keep records and can share them with buyers who ask.

Every piece is made to order. We do not hold large stock. We do not rush production. We believe that a piece made in four weeks is better than a piece made in four days.

Every piece is made by hand, by a named artisan, using real skill. Each piece takes between 8 and 45 hours to complete.
Our artisans are paid above the local market rate. We keep records and can share them with buyers who ask.
We say "Made in Rwanda" because it is. We are specific about where our pieces are made, who made them, and what material was used.
